To access the Client notifications configuration of the system parameters, click on the menu at the top right> Configuration> System settings.
Allows the sending of a notification with the estimated time of arrival (ETA) to the customer when the delivery person optimizes his route.
The notification is sent by text message. To receive the message, the customer must have a mobile number registered on the customer file.
- Check 'Send an SMS to customer on ETA calculation'.
- Message content: the message can be personalized according to the customer's language.
- Time limit for sending a new text message. Here for example, if the route is recalculated, the message is only sent if the time is brought forward or delayed by more than 10 minutes.
It is possible to personalize the message with the customer's name by indicating '$ firstName $ lastName' in the text. When the message is sent, this text will be replaced by the first and last name of the customer entered on the customer file.
In the same way the arrival time must be indicated $eta in the text and $url will display a link so that the customer can follow his order.
For example the message chosen above sent to the customer will be:
Hi John Doe, Your order is being delivered. Delivery is expected to be at 14h30. Thank you. |
