Equipment and prerequisite required to use Mobilus

Computer

  • One or more computers (Mac or PC).

  • Position the computer in a strategic location for its use (could be the same as that used for the paper format delivery register).

  • Suggested minimum screen size: 14 in.

  • Chrome browser installed (version 89 or +).

  • Stable internet connection, we recommend a wired connection.

  • Configure a printer on computers intended for Mobilus use for printing prescriptions and reports in paper format.

Note: For pharmacies under the Jean Coutu banner, the installation of Google Chrome must be done by the banner's computer center (Centre Rx). You will have to provide the name of the computer workstations for which you want to use Mobilus.

 

It is also recommended to ask your IT support to authorize the following websites:

  • Youtube to view Mobilus videos in full screen mode

  • Arcgis and Google Maps to ensure the proper functioning of geolocation

  • Zoom in order to be able to participate in initial training

 

Workstation configuration

For each computer where you want to use Mobilus, here are the steps to configure your workstations:

  1. Mobilus

    works only on Google Chrome.

  2. Start Google Chrome, in the Chrome address bar, type the following URL: pharma.mobilus.ca. This takes you to the Mobilus login page.

  3. Create a shortcut in the favorites bar: Create a shortcut in the favorites bar:

    1. Still on the Mobilus login page, click on the star at the top right of the screen

    2. Choose "Favorites bar" in the "Folder" tab

    3. Click on « Ok ». 

  4. Create a desktop shortcut:

    1. On the Mobilus login page, click on the 3 dots at the top right of the screen

    2. Go to "More tools"

    3. Select "Add to desktop"

    4. Click on « Add »
    5. Note: some banners must go through the banner's computer center to perform this operation.
  5. Remove autofill in web forms
